For years, every morning like clockwork, I am greeted with the same ritual day after day; heavy breathing in my face, tail wagging and a wet nose nudging me to get out of bed. I can think of no better way to wake up than have Emma, my black Labrador retriever greet me in the morning, and if you’re a dog lover like me, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Shortly after I got Emma, I adopted a cat which nobody seems to like very much, but I do, and as long as I feed her and tend to her every need, then we get along just fine. If you’re a cat lover, you also know exactly what I’m talking about.

I have pets, and I am an allergy sufferer, but I love animals too much to sacrifice having them. I decided a long time ago, that I would deal with my allergies however I must, in order to have the love of animals in my home.

Maybe I should get a turtle!

Okay, I admit that for a spell, I seriously did re-think the love of an animal in my home. I did question if the suffering was worth it, but in truth, I fell in love with my pets and for me there was no turning back so I tried every product on the market to help with my symptoms. For all intents and purposes, they worked but I hated the way I felt when I took them. I dealt with it, because I didn’t have a choice so I just got used to walking around dry nosed and jittery or sometimes dopey and sluggish depending on what I was taking. I did, however, manage to find my comfort zone as a pet owner with allergies by taking the following steps to ease the situation:

• Wash my hands often and always after petting
• I became a bit of a clean freak so I vacuum frequently
• I invested in a really good air purifier to clean the air
• I Have my dog groomed and brushed often

I can have my dog and pet her too?

Despite having found a comfort zone, I never stop looking for ways to make my pet loving allergy life, better. Every article I came across offered nothing new and usually alluded to getting rid of the pet, in order to get rid of the allergies, until a few years ago. That’s when my prayers were answered.

I saw a press release on Sinol all natural nasal spray for sinus, allergies and headache, and I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical when I read it. I had already tried everything out there and I had little faith that anything all natural could work better than a decongestant or antihistamine. Doesn’t an allergy product HAVE to have these in it to be effective? I certainly thought so, but fortunately, that is NOT THE CASE.

I decided to try it and from the start, my allergy symptoms disappeared, and I was shocked that I wasn’t feeling dopey or sluggish. I am able to use it throughout the day as I need it, and I have no side effects from it at all. My nose doesn’t dry out and I’m not jittery like I feel with decongestants and antihistamines. It’s hard to explain if you don’t have pet allergies, but for me, it completely changed the way I interact with my pets. I still wash my hands and vacuum often, but I pet them and hold them more, and I approach them so differently now that I have a medicine that lets me do it. Perhaps it’s time to get Emma a playmate???
